OTTAWA, March 19, 2010 (Ottawa Business Journal) -Thermal Energy International Inc. has received an order worth roughly $475,000 and confirmed a previously announced $4-million contract for its FLU-ACE waste heat recovery technology, marking the first signs of a comeback following months of inactivity and customer troubles.

The Ottawa-based green energy systems maker said Friday that it's confirmed a $4-million purchase order from major consumer products manufacturer Kruger Products Ltd. that it had announced in December.

Kruger has agreed to use the FLU-ACE system at its Gatineau tissue mill, with Thermal Energy designing, fabricating and installing the solution on two paper machines.
