MONTREAL, May 29, 2013 (Press Release) -The Kruger Products Memphis Mill located in Tennessee (USA) held a dedication ceremony to celebrate the completion of its expansion project and the startup of its new through-air-dried (TAD) tissue machine on May 22.

Joseph Kruger II, Chairman and CEO, and Mario Gosselin, CEO of Kruger Products, along with many of Kruger's Management team, presented to several guests of honor this new addition to the Memphis plant.

Tennessee Governor, Bill Haslam, Tennessee Commissioner of Economic and Community Development, Bill Hagerty, as well as several local elected officials and organizations were in attendance to celebrate this milestone in Kruger's history.

This $316 Million project included the construction of a TAD tissue machine, which is among the industry's most advanced technologies for the production of premium quality tissue. Through-air drying is extremely effective for increasing bulk and softness, as well as strength and absorption.

Over 100 new employees were hired for the new production line. Overall, 485 people work at the Memphis facility which incidentally is the largest industrial building in the state of Tennessee.

The Kruger Products Memphis Mill manufactures the White Cloud products, a range of tissue products sold exclusively at Wal-Mart in the United States.
