SAN FRANCISCO, July 23, 2020 (Press Release) -First Quality Tissue, the fastest growing US tissue paper producer in the last 10 years, announced today that it plans to install two new "state-of-the-art" Thru-Air-Dried (TAD) technology tissue paper machines with a total of 150,000 tons/yr of capacity in 2022 and 2023 in what is expected to be the USA.

The company said that each paper machine will include "complete lines of converting equipment."

"First Quality Tissue estimates the first machine to be operational in the third quarter of 2022; with the second machine coming online approximately twelve months thereafter. The location(s) where the machines will be installed will be announced in the fourth quarter of this year," the company said in its release.

"This new investment ... is yet another demonstration of First Quality's dedication to satisfying the needs of the market by providing high quality tissue products to First Quality's customers and consumers," the company said.

First Quality makes tissue paper in Lock Haven, PA, in a former International Paper mill, and in 2010 started up what has now become a large tissue papermaking complex in Anderson, SC, that runs various machines.
