OMET exceeded this year the700 installations of tissue converting machines worldwide. In its 50 years' long history OMET has built a solid reputation for excellence in the delivery of tissue converting equipment and premium service to customers.

The connection with its clients, the attention to their needs and expectations, the capability to read the market fluctuations have guided OMET in the creation of a complete range of automatic machines for the production of folded napkins and towels, characterized by strong innovation, efficiency, ease of use and low maintenance.

OMET TV 503 Line - high speed napkin production machine with a 3.000 napkins per minute capacity and the TV 840 Line, - high speed napkins production machine with a 5.000 napkins per minute capacity, are robust, durable, modular machines which can be tailored to suit any company's requirement. At the core of these machines are advanced technology and sophisticated software that increase their performance and reliability during intensive work cycles.

As a further addition to the product range, OMET launched in 2013 the FV Line. This latest family of machines are modular with different groups in combination - including embossing, folding and printing, - and fully gearless. They offer broad customization to accommodate any customer's future necessity of a different configuration.

The machines of the new FV Line could be configured for different production capacity, from 2.800 up to 8.000 napkins per minute, depending on type of size and fold. Each machine in the FV Line is fully controllable from the control panel and there is no need of human intervention for the electronic changing of the fold type. The admitted folds are 1/4, 1/8 and all kind of dispenser napkin fold. To increase the machine efficiency and reduce costly downtimes and wastage, the time needed for the job changeover from one type of napkin to another has been reduced to 2 minutes. This was possible thanks to the long experience of OMET in the optimization of the operating cycles and the know how in matters like ergonomics and use of working spaces and time, matured in both the tissue and the printing business.

One of the most important feature of the FV Line is its modularity, who makes it suitable for any target and any need, from short runs of customized products to very large runs of 1-ply products.

OMET will lecture at the Conference on March 21st on the topic"Electronic size and fold type changeover in napkin production", thus bringing to the attention of the audience its ‘Quick Change' system which improves the machine efficiency and brings important savings in production.
