HEIDENHEIM, Germany, Sept. 21, 2010 (Press Release) -Voith Paper announced that signed the contract to provide two tissue machines for Henan Luohe YinGe Paper. Both machines are equiped with 2-layer MasterJet II T headbox, Crescent former and the new Voith shoe press, named NipcoFlex T. The design speed is 2,000 m/min and the wire width is 5,600 mm. Each of the two machines can achieve annual production of 60,000 tonnes and are expected to start up in 2011.

Voith Paper's NipcoFlex is widely accepted by the market due to the lower energy consumption it provides and the excellent bulkiness of the paper. This technology is not only applied to B&P and graphics machines but also to tissue machines. To date, there are a total of 15 shoe press references on tissue machines worldwide.

China has the potential to become the most prestigious market for tissue consumption. According to February's ZhongMu Finance Report, the domestic tissue consumption will be around 6 million tonnes and the average annual growth rate will be 9.46%. Even taking into account the global financial crisis that impacted on related industries in China, the average growth rate is considered to be 6%. It is forecasted that the domestic demand for tissue paper will be up to 8.03 million tonnes which is a huge market for tissue manufacturers. The YinGe Group has a very positive forecast for the Chinese tissue market and has decided to invest in tissue production.
