MONTREAL, Nov. 26, 2019 (Press Release) -After a weeklong strike, the Teamsters and Canadian National (CN) have reached a tentative agreement to renew the collective agreement for over 3,000 conductors, trainpersons and yard workers.
Normal operations at CN will resume tomorrow at 0600 local time across Canada.

The substance tested as a non-toxic substance known as calcium carbonate, said Anthony Chenault of the Ohio EPA. The company will be contacted, said Chenault.
Calcium carbonate is commonly used in paper mills as a filler material in the alkaline papermaking process, according to pulppapermill.com.

At a news conference in the town, group spokespersons argued Northern Pulp has not made the case to justify a new waste-treatment facility for the aging pulp mill at Abercrombie Point, Pictou County.
