HELSINKI, March 18, 2019 (Press Release) -Stora Enso starts co-determination negotiations with employees at Oulu Mill in Finland regarding a plan to convert the paper mill into packaging board production and the closure of paper machine 6 and a sheeting plant. The planned change could result in a reduction of a maximum of 400 employees at the mill. PITTEN, Austria, Nov. 13, 2018 (Press Release) -In total Hamburger Containerboard will reduce its output 2018 by 30.000 tonnes due to some planned maintenance and national holidays during this period.
The company states that in November and December Hamburger Hungaria and Hamburger Rieger Trostberg will already reduce their production output by approx. 7.000 tonnes due to general maintenance work.
A further 23.000 tonnes of capacity reduction will be distributed equally between the group's remaining RCCM producing paper mills in December.Read more
