MHI America vice president Schiller to retire

HUNT VALLEY, MD, Dec. 18, 2012 (Press Release) -Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, America announces that Randy Schiller, vice president, sales and marketing for the Corrugating and Printing Machinery Division, will retire at the end of February, 2013. Schiller will continue to work with MHIA as Consultant and support Sales for the division in Canada. Industry veteran Paul Aliprando will take over responsibility for North American Sales and Marketing.

Schiller began working with MHI in 1987 as a Consultant for Control Systems design. During those years, he was active in TAPPI as an active member of the committee that formed the BoxNet protocol for control software. He joined MHI as Eastern Region Sales Manager in 1994 and was named VP Sales & Marketing in 2000.

Aliprando has over 25 years of experience in the corrugating industry. He has provided exceptional technical expertise and leadership within Corrugating Equipment Engineering and Box Plant Operations. Aliprando previously contributed to MHIA from 1989 until 1994, when he moved to a Box Plant in Baltimore as Production Manager. Aliprando rejoined MHIA in 2006 as Operations Manager and was named Sales and Marketing Manager in 2012. MHIA looks forward to Aliprando’s continued success in this new role. His knowledge of engineering, boxmaking, and management makes him a perfect fit for this position in an expanding business for MHI.
