NEW YORK, July 12, 2013 (Press Release) -
The International Corrugated Packaging Foundation (ICPF) has announced that Steve and Kim Landaal (Landaal Packaging Systems) will serve as Co-Chairs of the 2013 ICPF Holiday Weekend in New York fundraiser.
In its sixth year, the New York event serves as ICPF's annual fundraiser where manufacturing and supplier executives and their spouses can support the International Corrugated Packaging Foundation while socializing, networking and enjoying the best of New York City during the holiday season.
Steve and Kim invite ICPF Corporate Partners, ICPF supporters and their spouses to gather for ICPF's Holiday Weekend in New York on Friday and Saturday, December 13 & 14, 2013. This year's participants will begin with a Friday evening reception at the FireBird, sponsored and hosted by Anthony Pratt, Mike and Renie Harwood, and Pratt Industries. After free time on Saturday morning for leisurely brunches, holiday shopping, site seeing and museums, participants will attend the Saturday matinee performance of the Broadway hit, Motown (sponsored by CEL Chemical). They later will participate in the Saturday evening reception (sponsored by Bobst North America) and dinner (sponsored by RockTenn) at the world renowned and newly remodeled Russian Tea Room. There also will be the traditional ICPF surprise holiday gift for participants (sponsored by Gerber Innovations).
In addition to participating in the event, Steve and Kim are asking industry executives to invite clients, potential ICPF Corporate Partners, and to consider rewarding additional key employees from their companies with this special weekend holiday function. "Our ICPF holiday weekend event in New York is always the second weekend after the Thanksgiving weekend, so the Landaals have scheduled it on our calendar in advance for every year. This ICPF event is both our special family holiday and business social with long time industry friends, and new participants who become new friends. We encourage corrugated manufacturers and suppliers, and their spouses, to join us in supporting ICPF on December 13 & 14. Once you join us, you too will want to return annually for each ICPF Holiday Weekend in New York."
Event registration is $2,875.00 per participant (accompanying spouse or guest is included free of charge). Half of the tax deductible registration fee supports ICPF's operations and programs.
The Muse, a Kimpton boutique hotel in the Theatre District will serve as ICPF's host hotel again this year. Hotel rooms are in demand during this special time of the season, so executives are encouraged to register and make their reservations through ICPF by September 15 to ensure availability.
Co‑sponsored by the Association of Independent Corrugated Converters and the Fibre Box Association, ICPF's mission is to generate a stream of increasingly qualified students to enter the corrugated industry, now and into the future. ICPF is dedicated to the continued creation and building of partnerships with colleges and universities, assisting in the placement of equipment and other resources to advance corrugated curricula, the expansion of student internships within the industry, and the promotion of corrugated packaging career opportunities for packaging, sales & marketing, business, graphic design, supply chain management, and related graduates
