BOWLING GREEN, OH, Nov. 6, 2012 (Press Release) -On October 25, ICPF and Bowling Green State University (BGSU) conducted a dedication of BGSU's new packaging lab that contains an ICPF donated Gerber CAD table and Artios design software provided through ICPF. The ribbon cutting ceremony, attended by 18 corrugated industry representatives, junior and senior BGSU students, and over a dozen BGSU administrators and faculty, was followed by a luncheon that allowed interaction with students and discussion about industry career opportunities.

ICPF corporate partner and supporter participants included Nick Dottino (RockTenn), Steve Gore (Gerber Innovations), Joseph M. Palmeri and Larry Hudson (Jamestown Container Companies), Jim Robideau (Tecumseh Packaging /Akers Packaging Service), Molly Gregware (Georgia-Pacific), Chad Edel (Welch Packaging), Mike Chapman (International Paper), Craig Hoyt, Tom Gray and Gina Broseus (Buckeye Boxes), Doug Bosnik (Buckeye Corrugated, Inc.) The BGSU Visual Communication Technology Program is a thriving program with approximately 380 graphic design students who are involved in cross-media study. BGSU corrugated packaging and display curricula is offered through six different courses, providing structural design education, through use of ICPF's online curricula, the design software and CAD table, to over 160 students annually.
