International Forest Products LLC (IFP) is pleased to announce that they have been named the exclusive sales agent for the line of patented and patent-pending extrusion coatings, dispersion enhancers, and microbial-controlling additives for the paper and paperboard industry from Fusion Technologies LLC.
Recently introduced to the paper industry, Fusion Technologies' products provide manufacturers, brand owners and end users new alternatives to existing polymers; dispersion agents and additives offering economic, performance, food safety and environmental benefits. Patented carrier technology significantly improves dispersion of certain minerals, and Fusionite® microbial controlling additive is different from anything currently on the market, offering a range of advantages depending on the application.
Profylite® extrusion coating pellets and Fusionite® additive can be used in the extrusion coating, liquid coating and slurry processes related to the production of paper and paperboard. Markets and applications include food service products and packaging, medical, specialty, converted products and consumer goods.
"We are excited to represent Fusion Technologies' new products which provide a wide range of value added and environmental benefits to the paper and paperboard industry," said Daniel J. Moore, IFP's Chief Operating Officer. "These materials will enhance the products our customers manufacture."
