Former Fusion Paperboard workers join new recycling company in Connecticut

PLAINFIELD, CT, Dec. 1, 2014 (Local News) -True to form a new recycling company in Plainfield is even recycling old bins to use as containers to hold the recyclable materials.

If you look closely you can see some say Fusion Paperboard. Sound familiar? Well yes that's where the workers came from and where the bins came from as well.

News8 first met Mike D'Auria when Fusion Paperboard announced it was closing down the Sterling plant and laying off 140 workers. He had hoped to continue a recycling program he started at Fusion and keep some co-workers working.
