Change is good. It keeps us fresh, brings on new ideas, shakes things up. We’ve been seeing a bit of it around the paperboard packaging industry lately with continued mergers and acquisitions. Now, after 99 years, Paperboard Packaging has evolved into an online edition, delivered to your inbox in this on-the-go world we now live in.
The magazine will continue to be anchored by commentary and industry columns, such as our Independent Voice and Industry Statistics. This new format will actually highlight more industry features — the same features that created Paperboard Packaging as the authority in the corrugated container and folding carton industries.
We also will be focusing more on the European and emerging markets in our coverage with the addition of a European Editor, Sally Cousins, to the writing staff. We will be introducing new features as well such as a Brand Owner, a Day in the Life, and Installation of the Month columns.
As editor of this new Paperboard Packaging, I’m pledging to continue to take our magazine into the future — readers will gain more valuable resources and management ideas and tools to start implementing today to make your company more successful in the long-run. After all, we are the business resource for the global board converting industry.
