Europac exhibits its packaging products at 3rd Europack Euromanut event in Lyon, France

November 23, 2017 - 03:55

MADRID, Spain, Nov. 20, 2017 (Press Release) -The Europac Group will attend the 3rd Europack Euromanut, an international trade fair that gathers professionals from the packaging, handling and production process sector. The event will take place from 21 to 23 November in Lyon (France). After attending Empack in Porto and Fruit Attraction in Madrid, the company is maintaining its commercial communication strategy and implementing its plan to explain to the market how to bring added value to its products and services through packaging.

  • Heavy duty, high print quality and e-business underpin the offer of solutions from Europac at this French trade fair
  • The company’s offer is based on bringing added value, responding to current market trends and anticipating future needs

The range of products that Europac will exhibit at the French trade fair include packaging items targeted at the consolidated heavy duty sector, as well as others aimed at meeting a growing demand for packaging, displays and PoS material with high print quality to be used on store shelves directly. Furthermore, as a market segment with enormous future growth potential, the company will also present its value proposals for e-business.

According to Herco Koeling, Country Manager of Europac Packaging in France, “the offer of packaging solutions being presented by the company at Europack Euromanut is based on bringing added value, demonstrating our potential to the market as a strategic partner in the ad-hoc development of packaging for each client, responding to current market trends and anticipating future needs”.

Product range

Heavy duty is one of the main attractions at the Europac stand because of its ability to replace other materials such as timber. It also enhances recycling and repurposing options at the destination, improves logistics costs and handling due to reduced weight, and needs none of the phytosanitary treatments required by timber packaging.

Furthermore, Europac remains committed to high print quality in order to accompany its clients in the growth of a market where packaging is yet another means of communicating with end customers. In this regard, the option to produce printed packaging using offset, flexography and digital technologies allows excellent results to be achieved for both small custom print runs and large orders.

Finally, the company is strengthening its packaging solutions for e-business with ideas that can meet packaging needs based on the product, process and logistics in order to improve the user experience and generate a positive memory in end customers for future purchases.

Europac in France

The Europac Group is a leader in the French paper and cardboard for packaging market. The company currently has one recycled paper plant with a production capacity of 300,000 tonnes/year of low density fluting, as well as five packaging plants where over 50% of the 865 million m2 of total installed capacity of Europac is produced. These factories mean Europac is one of the four benchmark packaging solution providers in France.

Both the paper plant and four of the five packaging factories are located in north-west France, a region that accounts for one-third of the French packaging market and is considered the French breadbasket due to the high concentration of industries in the agri-food sector.
