OSLO, Norway, Oct. 19, 2021 (Press Release) -PepsiCo has given its Tropicana organic juice range a carton makeover for the French market with a shift from non-returnable glass bottles. The four 100% organic products in the Tropicana’s Pur Jus Bio range were re-launched in Pure-Pak cartons in April 2021.
The certified organic brand is produced using sustainable agricultural practices in order to preserve biodiversity and the natural resources of the planet. All the fruit are grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilizers, and GMO’s.
For PepsiCo, it was important that the change in packaging continues to support the sustainability journey of the whole portfolio. Therefore, the Pack ECO conçu (eco-designed pack) currently used for the Tropicana fresh range was selected. These cartons feature renewable PE, which further reduce greenhouse gas emissions, compared to a standard carton. The carton is used as a communication tool to explain to consumers how the choice of packaging reduces impact on the environment, is fully recyclable, FSC certified and carbon neutral.
The Tropicana Pur Jus Bio range of four flavours apple, orange without pulp, orange-mandarin-grape and carrot-orange-lemon flavours is now on-shelf across France in 850ml Pure-Pak cartons.
