TOKYO, Feb. 9, 2021 (Press Release) -Oji Holdings Corporation (President: Masatoshi Kaku, Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) has decided to establish a new corrugated container plant in Selangor, Malaysia.

  1. Corrugated container business in Malaysia

Our group is operating 8 corrugated container plants in Malaysia (3 in North, 3 in Central & 2 in South) and another new plant is under construction as 3rd in South. Oji group will further to expand business by establishing the new 4th plant in Central where demand growth is expected as economic hub of Malaysia. This is part of our strategic investment for strengthening integration of material and converting, together with new containerboard production facilities currently under construction in Malaysia.

The new plant will be Oji group’s 35th corrugated container plant in South East Asia, India and Oceania.
