DELFT, The Netherlands, May 23, 2011 (Press Release) -VPInstruments presents the first mass flow meter that can measure in wet compressed air. Knowledge about compressed air is crucial for a good energy management system. However condensation and pollution makes it hard to measure directly downstream the compressor. The solutions that are yet available are expensive and hard to use, plus in some cases these instruments cause a permanent pressure loss.

The VPFlowScope deltaP is the first flow meter that measures directly downstream the compressor and makes this easy as well. It provides you with a readout of mass flow, pressure and temperature simultaneously. The VPFlowScope deltaP is based on the well known differential pressure principle. Because it provides you with an output of three sensors (mass flow, pressure and temperature) you save money on buying, installing and analyzing single sensors. Even more, it is easy to service the device in the field thanks tot the unique exchangeable probe (patent pending).

The display features a keypad and provides you with a built-in data logger. This makes the VPFlowScope delta P perfect for mobile measurements, but can also be used for permanent measurements in your compressed air system. The VPFlowScope deltaP is versatile; it can be used for different pipe diameters and flow ranges. It can also be installed in pressurized conditions so you do not even have to stop your production!
