Vida Paper continues to invest in quality, environment and efficiency during 2011

LESSEBO, Sweden, Jan. 28, 2011 (Press Release) -

During the summer maintenance stop, a new quality control system will be installed on PM3, in line with what has been done on PM1 and PM2. This will improve the quality control as well as improve efficiency in quality changes.

A new deflaker will be installed on PM3 .

PM3 will have a new deflaker installed to improve formation and purity in the paper, at the same time a renovation of the headbox for PM3 will be undertaken.

The above mentioned investments will improve the quality of our premium papers even further.

New economizer in the heat plant installed.

During the Christmas maintenance stop, a new economizer in the one of our heaters where installed. This will improve the yield; biofuel vs heat. That is an improvement both for the environment and for efficiency. A new heat accumulator tank has also been installed to as a buffer to secure heat distribution.
