France-based Seyfert Descartes to lose 400 tonnes/day due to PM1's damaged post drying section; operations likely to resume in four weeks

DESCARTES, France, April 25, 2012 (Press Release) -On Friday, 20.04.2012 a part of the post drying section of the paper machine I at Descartes has been damaged for so far unexplained reasons. The shutdown will last approx. 4 weeks. Paper machine IV is not affected by that damage and is able to continue the production. The loss of production will be about 400 to per day.
