Metso to replace pulp bleaching line automation system at Stora Enso Oulu mill in Finland

HELSINKI, April 27, 2010 (Press Release) -Metso will supply an automation system to Stora Enso's pulp bleaching line at its Oulu mill in Finland. The line produces bleached pulp, part of which is used as raw material in the multi-coated art paper made at the integrated paper mill, and part of which is sold as market pulp. The new automation system will be put into use in August 2010.

The modern metsoDNA CR automation system will replace the present system on the pulping line from the 1980s. The target of the investment is to increase the efficiency of the mill operations and extend the mill's life cycle.
