Delion France acquires pulp dryer from idled Lielahti mill

VOREPPE, France, Nov. 19, 2014 (Press Release) -Delion France (ex. Vertaris) has acquired the pulp dryer of the Lielahti mill previously made idle by Metsa Board. The pulp dryer and baling equipment will be installed in Delion France's Voreppe plant during Q1/2015 for a start-up end Q2. This acquisition will allow Delion France to produce market pulp in sheeted bales. Initial production of high quality de-inked market pulp will be 140,000 tpy and be gradually increased to 200,000 tpy. The plant will be producing high quality D.I.P. grades for the printing & writing, paperboard and tissue markets. EFP-Chavassieu will be handling the sales and marketing of the mill production
