ATLANTA, GA, May 9, 2015 (Press Release) -This year's recipient of the Process Control Division Scholarship is Benjamin Demchik. This scholarship is presented students who have demonstrated a significant interest in the field of process controls for the pulp, paper, and allied industries.
Demchik attends the University Wisconsin-Stevens Point, majoring in Paper Science and Engineering. He is an active student member of TAPPI and is participating in a research project modeling a gas chromatograph. He expects to intern as a research student this summer. After graduation, Demchik plans to pursue a career in the paper industry.
