AstenJohnson to close paper fabric plant in Georgia

ATLANTA, Feb. 22, 2010 (Atlanta Journal-Constitution) -The third of three AstenJohnson plants in Jonesboro will shut down in July, the company announced Wednesday.
The Charleston-based company makes press fabric which is used in paper-making - and the paper industry's continued decline has forced the company to cut its production, said spokeswoman Rebecca Harper.
