APPLETON, WI, Oct. 13, 2021 (Press Release) -Two local, long-time manufactures related to Wisconsin’s paper industry will be featured in an upcoming original series on the new Magnolia Network called “Extraordinary Stories Behind Everyday Things.”

Paper converter and art supply manufacturer Dixon Ticonderoga, and specialty paper manufacturer Ahlstrom-Munksjö, have worked collaboratively together for almost 20 years creating colored school and craft construction papers. With both organizations having plants based in the Fox Valley ”Paper Valley” region of Wisconsin, the partnership along with the local connections resonated with the network’s producers.

”We have a great industrial and paper-making story to share here in Northeast Wisconsin,” said DIXON REP &TITLE. ”We are very excited for people all around the world to experience papermaking and the joy of these colorful craft papers.”

Magnolia Network's original series Extraordinary Stories Behind Everyday Things is now streaming exclusively on discovery+ and the Magnolia app. The “Dippin’ Dots, Construction Paper and Marbles” episode featuring Dixon Ticonderoga and Ahlstrom-Munksjö will premiere on Friday, October 15.

“Dippin’ Dots, Construction Paper and Marbles” - Episode Description: Discover how iconic Dippin' Dots ice cream is created in Kentucky, how giant rolls of colorful construction paper for arts and crafts projects are manufactured in Wisconsin and enjoy a classic game of marbles in West Virginia.
