Fibria takes maintenance downtime at Três Lagoas mill in Brazil
The shutdown will involve 70 companies, which have been hired to perform more than two thousand service orders at Fibria's installations. The work will bring to Três Lagoas around two thousand temporary professionals, many of them from other countries, which will help to stimulate the local commerce and hotel, service and sectors. According to the General Manager of the Três Lagoas Unit, Renato Ottoni, "the temporary shutdown is a part of our constant striving to improve our productivity indices and the environmental efficiency of the processes and equipment".
