HELSINKI, April 6, 2018 (Globe Newswire) -Kemira will make a multi-million euro investment to expand production at its Joutseno chlor-alkali site in Finland. The production capacity will be expanded to ensure Kemira's ability to address the growing need for sodium hydroxide in Finland.

The investment is expected to be operational during the fourth quarter of 2018. Joutseno chlor-alkali site produces sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid, and sodium hypochlorite for pulp and paper and process industries as well as municipal water treatment.
