Harmac president Levi Sampson said the possible loss of Catalyst's Crofton pulp and paper mill could see fewer ships and barges arriving in Duke Point to carry Harmac's pulp to its international markets.

He said ships and barges pick up processed pulp at Catalyst's Crofton mill before heading to Harmac to continue filling their holds, and if there is less pulp to be shipped from the region there could be less transportation options for Harmac to get its product to market.
