ST PETERSBURG, Russia, June 7, 2013 (Press Release) - The logging companies of Ilim Group in the Bratsk and Ust-Ilimsk Districts of the Irkutsk Oblast have opened their big navigation season to deliver over 3 million cubic meters of wood by water.

About half of all wood supplied to the Branch in the Bratsk District is delivered by water. This year wood volumes delivered by water are expected to exceed 2.6 million cubic meters, a 40% increase against 2012 results. This significant increase in delivery volumes is attributed to the production needs of the new fiberline in Bratsk to be completed within the framework of the Big Bratsk investment project.

This year the Branch of Ilim Group in the Ust-Ilimsk District plans to deliver 458,000 cubic meters of wood.

The 2013 navigation will involve 72 own and contracted vessels in the Bratsk District and 15 in the Ust-Ilimsk District.
