BANBURY, UK, Oct 22, 2014 (Press Release) - WRAP today announced that Julie Hill will be appointed as Chair of the WRAP Board of Trustees at the next WRAP Board meeting on 19 November.
She succeeds Peter Stone, who will retire at the WRAP Board Meeting in November.
Julie Hill is a former Director, and is now an Associate, of Green Alliance. She has worked for many years on the waste and resources agenda, and most recently has chaired Green Alliance's Circular Economy Task Force. She has advised governments and businesses on a broad range of environmental policy issues. A strong advocate of consumer engagement, she serves on the board of the Consumer Council for Water, and is a former board member of the Environment Agency and the Eden Project.
David Palmer-Jones, Non Executive Director of WRAP Board who chaired the appointment panel, said the Board was "absolutely delighted" at the appointment
