VIENNA, Austria, March 7, 2014 (Press Release) - CRUSH is a revolutionary environmental paper range by Italian manufacturer Favini. At the heart of its innovation is the use of agro-industrial waste, which replaces up to 15% of traditional wood pulps derived from trees. After hundreds of hours of research and fine tuning, Favini has managed to transform by-products of corn, citrus fruits, kiwi fruit, olives, almonds, hazelnuts and coffee beans into high quality paper.
CRUSH brings new life to residues from organic products that would normally be processed as fillers in animal food and fertilizers or simply dumped in landfill. In a 3-minute video you can follow the story of citrus fruits from orchard to paper.
CRUSH is FSC certified, GMO-free and contains 30% post-use recycled fiber. Using agro-industrial by-products and 100% green energy results in a 20% reduction of CRUSH's carbon footprint.
Indeed, Crush is not only a highly ecological paper, but also a product that ensures optimal levels of print and converting quality at competitive prices, making it ideal for a wide range of applications - from luxury packaging applications, shopping bags and labels to publications, greeting cards, business cards and brochures.
