SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 29, 2020 (Fastmarkets RISI) -Along with the Walmart Foundation, Walmart said this month it is committed to help protect, manage or restore at least 50 million acres of land and one million square miles of ocean by 2030.

Included in the company’s updated forest goals is continuing efforts to source private brand pulp and paper from suppliers using Forest Stewardship Council, Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification or Sustainable Forestry Initiative certifications, or recycled content.
