SPRAGUE, CT, Aug. 26, 2015 (Norwich Bulletin) -Officials from two Connecticut agencies were blocked from easily accessing the former Fusion Paperboard property in Sprague Monday for a public hearing related to a state-ordered environmental remediation plan.

Representatives from the Attorney General's Office and state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection arrived at the Inland Road facility at 9:30 a.m. for a pre-hearing conference, but company officials said they and any other member of the public would have to sign a waiver before being allowed onsite. The state representatives, however, refused to sign the waiver.
