First Nations vows force against effluent from Northern Pulp into harbor in Nova Scotia

HALIFAX, NS, April 18, 2014 (Chronicleherald.ca) -The Pictou Landing First Nation is threatening to use force to stop the kraft pulp plant at Abercrombie Point from pumping effluent into Boat Harbour.

"We will use any means necessary to protect our land and our people," Chief Andrea Paul said on Thursday in a press release.

"What else can we do? Our own provincial government is ignoring the law."
