Lewis' decade of working at Domtar to advance Forest Stewardship Council® certification and specifically his collaborations with non-governmental groups such as Rainforest Alliance and World Wildlife Fund (WWF) has helped pave the way for wider acceptance and adoption of sustainable forestry practices within the pulp and paper industry.
Lewis was also the architect of Domtar's environmental calculator the Domtar Paper Trail that was released in 2011. The online tool allows Domtar's paper customers to make informed purchasing choices by providing accurate, mill-level data, resetting the bar for industry disclosure practices.
