ROSSANO VENETO, Italy , Aug. 31, 2021 (Press Release) -Favini, leading global producer of high-end paper products, received Gold Status by EcoVadis, world’s largest and most trusted provider of corporate sustainability ratings.

EcoVadis recently made an in-depth review of the corporate responsibility status of Favini, and the result is a substantial improvement of the score, granting Favini an evaluation of 72/100, just one step below the Platinum status. Favini is now rated within the top 5% of all assessments conducted by EcoVadis and within the top 2% of those conducted in our sector.

The EcoVadis overall score reflects the quality of our sustainability management system covering the four milestones of companies’ CSR: Environment, Ethics, Sustainable Procurement as well as Labour and Human Rights.

The Gold status endorses our strategy of sustainability, recognizing in particular our exceptional policy on major environmental issues. Since the Nineties we have embraced the circular economy approach, in anticipation of today’s widespread environmental conscience. Using our huge heritage of many years of studies, our R&D labs keeps on developing ecological paper solutions to meet the rising demand from the luxury packaging and print market which seeks high performance materials with a low environmental footprint.

Favini has been developing its CSR strategy for long time following best practices and is now using the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as a master reference. For us the SDGs represents the direction towards 2030 and beyond and we share these activities with transparency on our dedicated web area: Sustainability Channel.
