SEOUL, South Korea, July 20, 2010 (Press Release) -On July 20th, Moorim Paper celebrated a 'Green Partnership' agreement with its partners for the first time in Korean printing paper industries. The ceremony was held at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul, attended by Mr. Dae-Ja Kim(a Director of Industry & Environment Coordination Division in Ministry of Knowledge Economy), Mr. In-Jung Kim(a CEO of Moorim Paper) and twenty other partner companies including Mr. Sei-Yong Oh(a CEO of Seihan Ind. Co., Ltd.)
Green Partnership is in collaboration with Government institutions that encourages large enterprises to help their partners to build eco-friendly, low carbon management systems and to make low carbon, green growth society. Moorim Paper makes this year its first year of green management and plans on doing an intensive investment program for the enhanced green management system. Moorim Paper plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and energy cost by 5% from now until May 2011.
