Vaahto Group has announced the sale of the Service business of Vaahto Paper Technology Ltd to a company to be incorporated by a group of investors represented by Antti Vaahto.
The sale of the business was completed on 26 September 2014. Vaahto Paper Technology's 47 employees in Tampere will transfer to the new employer in the sale of the business.Read more
Bellmer Vaahto and Tasowheel will install the new dilution headbox on the 40,000 tonne/yr specialty board BM 3 during the plant's midsummer downtime.

ÖSCHELBRONN, Germany, June 4, 2014 (Press Release) -Bellmer Vaahto has received a significant headbox retrofit order for the rebuild of BM3 at Pankaboard Oy, located in Lieksa, Eastern Finland. The mill operates two machines which produce packaging and graphic papers with demanding end-uses which require high lev-els of stiffness and excellent printability. BM3 focuses Pankawhite and Pankabrite coated cartonboard grades.Read more
Japrotek Vessels, a member of Vaahto Group, has received a substantial order from Valmet AB in Sweden for the design, fabrication and site-assembly of Digester, Impbin and Prefabricated tanks. The delivery is part of Valmet's new cooking plant supply to SCA's Obbola containerboard mill in Sweden.
Design work starts immediately and the installation will be handed over in April 2015. The order will be processed at the Japrotek works in Pietarsaari and will greatly contribute to the employment situation in summer and autumn.Read more
SHANGHAI, March 21, 2013 (RISI) -Lee & Man Paper Manufacturing plans to raise its total capacity to 10 million tonnes/yr in the next few years, according to its latest financial report released this week.
Currently, the giant is moving ahead with the installation and construction of three PMs with a total capacity of 950,000 tonnes/yr in China.
PM 18, a 350,000 tonne/yr recycled containerboard PM, will start up by the end of May at a greenfield mill in Jiujiang city, Jiangxi province.Read more
