Six of the most popular Chromolux colours are now available in a heavier 350 g/m² weight: white, chrome, silver, gold, red and black. This provides more choice for packaging of luxury products such as fragrances, where the bulk and stiffness of a heavier-weight board gives added value to the carton. It is also especially suitable for displays, covers, cards and many other graphical applications.
Selection of Chromolux papers and boards has been made as simple and straightforward as possible, with two new collection books and a practical, handy mini swatch.
There is one collection book for paper and one for board. Each contains a summary of key information, such as product characteristics and benefits, range of applications and advice on printing and finishing - crucial for selecting the right product. The brochures include samples in all grammages, allowing comparison of visual and haptic properties.
The collection books are supplemented by a practical mini swatch, showing the entire range of paper and board in a fan format.
New look for the Chromolux brand
The launch of the new range and change of the company's name from M-real Zanders GmbH to Metsä Board Zanders GmbH provided the opportunity to refresh the Chromolux brand identity. In pure silver with a large white C, the new Chromolux design is clear, modern and symbolises the next major step into the future.
