The Porcari-based company will supply four tissue rewinders to the Asian customer that has grown quickly in the course of the last twenty years, changing its status and going from a small company (founded in 1994) to a structured group listed in the stock exchange, with five facilities in China and some factories in Vietnam.Read more
ESPOO, Finland, March 15, 2016 (Press Release) -Valmet will supply two Advantage DCT tissue production lines and related automation systems to one of China's leading paper and pulp producers, Lee & Man Manufacturing Ltd. The new lines will be installed at Lee & Man's mill in Chongqing and start-up is planned to take place in late 2016.
The order is included in Valmet's first quarter 2016 orders received. The value of the order is not disclosed.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 6, 2014 (RISI) -Lee & Man Paper Manufacturing has started up a 400,000 tonne/yr recycled containerboard machine at a mill in Chongqing municipality in China.
Dubbed PM 20, the Valmet unit is 7.25 m wide and has a design speed of 1,100 m/min.
The machine is designed to make testliner grades in the basis weight range of 70-160 g/m². Its output is to be sold on the regional market around Chongqing.
The site also has a 165,000 tonne/yr bamboo pulp line and two recycled containerboard PMs with a combined capacity of 700,000 tonnes/yr.Read more
The benchmark grade, US old corrugated containers (OCC), saw a price rebound in the third week of last month and its levels have been fairly steady since then.
The grade is now going for $210-213/tonne after climbing $3-5/tonne from three weeks ago.
US OCC prices plunged $22-25/tonne over November, from $227-232/tonne to $205-207/tonne.Read more
