BRUSSELS, Sept 25, 2014 (RISI) - Sarriopapel y Celulosa, which is part of the Lecta group, will invest Euro 34 million ($44 million) in its specialty paper mill in Leitza, northern Spain.
BARCELONA, July 1, 2014 (Press Release) - 73 of the 132 employees will be relocated to other Group mills and production will be redistributed mainly between the Zaragoza and Motril sites.
After a process of negotiation and dialogue with employee representatives to study the viability or closure ofTorraspapel's mill in Sarrià de Ter (Girona, Spain), on June 30th the company and employees reached an agreement that will result in the closure of the plant, relocating 73 of the 132 employees to other Group manufacturing sites in Spain.
