BRUSSELS, May 4, 2017 (PPI Europe) -Mondi has restarted production on its brown kraftliner machine PM 1 at its Swiecie mill in Poland, which was stopped in early March for a rebuild. While originally scheduled to come back online in early April, PM 1 restarted commercial production in the second half of the month.
Mondi’s spokesperson said the unit is now up and running but declined to specify when exactly the machine was restarted. Industry sources said that they received customer letters from Mondi around Easter saying that PM 1 would be relaunched with a delay.Read more
