With a large-scale modernization project in Hallein, the Schweighofer group aims at an extension of the company's product range. In future, in addition to the pulp for the paper industry, also high-quality viscose pulp for the textile/ and food industries will be manufac-tured.
The production of such specific pulp grades requires first-class machine technology. Therefore, the Schweighofer management awarded Bellmer the order for the rebuild of the pulp dewatering machine.
Bellmer's scope of supply comprises the proven circular distributor TURBOCircler fea-turing equal distribution of the stock flow across the entire inlet width of the headbox. The dilution water system TURBODiluter designed for optimal profile control forms also part of the supply. The hydraulic headbox TURBOJetter enables equal CD profile right from the beginning and thus takes care of an excellent formation of the paper web.
Furthermore, Bellmer will provide a shoe press TURBOPress. By means of this tool, highest dry contents can be achieved upon simultaneous protection of the bulk.
Parts for the web/ and felt guiding systems, framework of the press section, peripheral plant parts, engineering and project management round off the diversified scope of supply.
Start-up of the pulp plant is scheduled for September 2012.
