Novodvinsk, Russia, April 28, 2021 (Press Release) -Based on the results of Nielsen research agency (Nielsen Holdings PLC, USA is the largest independent company holding a marketing measurement in basic goods industry, media measurement and consumers research), the share of Soffione™ toilet paper produced by Arkhbum Tissue Group (Vorsino industrial park, Kaluga region, part of Pulp Holding Group) is 4% at the Russian market of sanitary and tissue products (indicator is volume) at the end of 2020.
According to the research among the companies producing branded products, the first position belongs to the leader of paper products market - Essity (Zewa brand), second position – Hayat (Papia and Familia brands). The third position belongs to Arkhbum Tissue Group (Soffione brand).
The Arkhbum Tissue Group company considers this a good result in such a short period of time, taking into account the high competition in this category. We will remind, that the Zewa brand appeared on the Russian market in 1997, Papia and Familia - in 2015, Soffione - in 2019.
According to Arkhbum Tissue Group estimates, the capacity of the Russian sanitary and tissue products market at the end of 2020 amounted to 590 thousand tons, 440 thousand tons of which are goods for household consumption (Fast moving consumer goods, FMCG) and 150 thousand tons are goods for professional consumption outside the home (Away from home, AFH).
