BOULOGNE-BILLANCOURT, France, Sept. 16, 2013 (Press Release) -Antalis, the leading European distributor of paper, packaging solutions and visual communications products, has completed its Cyclus range of coated, uncoated, office and ink jet natural recycled papers with a preprint option. Cyclus Preprint combines the quality of an offset paper with the practicality of digital, laser and ink jet printing techniques and is produced by Arjowiggins Graphic whose name has become synonymous with superior quality and commitment to responsible, sustainable paper production. As with the entire Cyclus range, Cyclus Preprint is part of the Antalis Ecoresponsible product offer and carries FSC® Recycled, EU Ecolabel and Blue Angel certification and is REACH-compliant.
Greater flexibility for customers for multiple applications
Cyclus Preprint rounds out the Cyclus range by giving end-user and copy shop customers the possibility of printing additional and often personalised information on paper that has already been printed with standardised content: letterheads, corporate documents, faxes, invoice forms, direct marketing, reply cards... The substrate is suitable for digital and laser printing as well as black and white inkjet printing for optimum versatility.
Environmental excellence and elegant finish
Cyclus Preprint adheres to the same high environmental standards as the rest of the Cyclus range which has become an industry reference for companies concerned with sustainable development. It is an eco-responsible product which guarantees that it adheres to the very strictest of environmental standards both in terms of its constituent raw materials and its production processes.
Its recycled fibres, already a testament to environmental responsibility, are FSC® certified which guarantees that they are from pulp sourced from sustainably-managed forests. The EU Ecolabel, the most stringent environmental certification in the EU, attests to a responsible manufacturing process with clear objectives regarding energy efficiency and water treatment. Cyclus Preprint is also compliant with the European REACH regulation which controls the use of harmful chemicals in the production process.
"The addition of Cyclus Preprint to the Cyclus range puts us in a position to offer an end-to-end recycled solution that covers all the printing and writing requirements of corporate and public sector customers concerned with implementing a responsible paper purchasing strategy as part of their CSR strategy," explains François Lainé, business development director, Antalis International. "In addition to its exceptional environmental credentials, Cycle Preprint also has a unique touch and feel and artistic finish that appeal to many of our customers in the luxury industry."
