Dr. Griffin earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of California and his Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from University of Massachusetts.
His role at LanzaTech is focused on the design and scale-up of the company's proprietary gas fermentation process and is active in the build-out of the LanzaTech Freedom Pines Biorefinery in Soperton, Georgia.
Dr. Griffin was previously with Eli Lilly pharmaceuticals focused on the design and scale-up of continuous crystallization systems.
The 2015 IBBC program focuses on "Leveraging Forest Biomass for the Next Generation of Fuels and Chemicals" and is a must-attend event for pulp and paper companies that are invested in exploring the unique benefits possessed by the pulp and paper industry to produce fuel, energy, and chemicals from biomass.
