CINCINNATI, OH, Nov. 23, 2020 (Press Release) -Omya announces 4% price increase on Paper and Board products effective January 1, 2021. Effective January 1, 2021, Omya Inc. and its affiliates will increase prices by 4%, or as customer contracts allow, on Calcium Carbonate products for the paper and paperboard markets in the US and Canada.

The increase is a consequence of rising costs of raw materials, mining costs, chemicals, labor, and transportation.  Each year Omya minimizes these cost inflations through operational excellence, expense control, and supply chain efficiencies. During these uncertain times, Omya continues to commit to significant investment in production abilities to support growth throughout our customer base.

Omya is dedicated to providing innovative cost-effective products, technical services, and solutions to you in the continued development of your business.

Omya greatly appreciates your continued business and support.  If you have any further questions or concerns regarding this price increase, please do not hesitate to reach out to your sales representative.
