BRIDGEWATER, NJ, April 8, 2010 (Press Release) -National Starch Papermaking Innovation has launched a new website (www.papermakinginnovation.com) that showcases its unique blend of differentiated value-added products, technical support, industry knowledge and environmental commitment to the global papermaking marketplace.

The site provides easy navigation to three main product areas supported by National Starch's natural polymer-based products: wet end starches, surface starches, and specialty starches. National Starch Paper Innovation's products deliver multiple benefits such as increased paper strength, performance and printability. The products also can increase a mill's operational efficiency by improving retention, drainage, additives use, manufacturing machine performance, production speed and overall throughput.

The website includes a section dedicated to new products, such as EcoPROTMa unique high molecular weight cationic natural polymer supplied in dry form that delivers the same drainage, retention and strength of a cooked starch; ClearFLOTMstarches, stable film-formers that reduce the detrimental impact commodity surface starches have on final sheet brightness; and Redi-PRO® ready-for-use liquid, which provides exceptional fines and filler attraction and drainage improvement.

Because National Starch Paper Innovation products are natural polymer-based, they also provide paper manufacturers with significant environmental and sustainability benefits, such as reduced VOC and biological oxygen demand levels.

National Starch Papermaking Innovation, a business unit of National Starch LLC, is a global leader in the development and manufacture of natural-polymer based, environmentally sound specialty starch products that meet the needs of a wide variety of wet-end and specialty surface papermaking applications.
