CHARLOTTE, NC, April 15, 2010 (Press Release) -BASF will introduce its new Paper Chemicals Division team at TAPPI's PaperCon 2010, held May 2-5, 2010, at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia. This annual event is the largest and most comprehensive paper industry conference and expo in North America, and is an ideal place for BASF to show its lineup of products for this market.

"BASF has long been recognized as a provider of coating chemicals and kaolin-based pigments for the paper and paperboard market," said Derek Fairclough, Senior Vice President, Paper Chemicals Division in North America. "With the acquisition of Ciba Corporation last year, we created a new division-Paper Chemicals-combining the expertise from both companies.
