VADODARA, India, Nov. 21, 2012 (Press Release) -Deepak Nitrite Limited, a leading Indian producer of organic, inorganic and fine chemicals announced its entry into the FWA business through its setting up of a world scale capacity at Dahej in Gujurat, India. The plant with a capacity of 200 million lb. will cater to the needs of the paper, detergent and textile industries worldwide.

DNL, the only fully backward integrated manufacturer of FWAs in the world will be able to leverage its manufacturing expertise with quality registered through the most stringent regulatory bodies worldwide and will offer full spectrum technical support pre and post purchase. The company, a member of Responsible Care also aims to minimize its carbon and water footprint with perhaps the lowest effluent and emission standards of any FWA plant in the world. The production site is located at Dahej, which features easy and comprehensive access to port facilities, power, water and other utilities, and most of the basic raw materials in close proximity. The product itself is sold in every variation of the stilbene range and is backed by a strong innovation focused team and application labs in all segments for testing and post sales support.

The facility at Dahej enables us to forward integrate to manufacture OBA (Toluene - PNT - DASDA - OBA) and makes DNL one of the few integrated manufacturers of this product in the world.

The end user industries for DNL range from agro-chemicals, dyestuffs, pigments, inks, whiteners, pharmaceuticals to fuel additives, textiles, paper, detergent and solar industry. DNL prioritises R&D activities and invests around 1% of its annual revenues in this area.
