The UPM Kotka Biorefinery would produce approximately 500,000 tonnes of advanced biofuels made from sustainable raw materials for use in the road transport, marine and aviation sectors. ESPOO, Finland, Oct. 3, 2018 (Press Release) -Valmet will supply a biomass boiler to Greenalia's new Curtis-Teixeiro biomass power plant in Teixeiro, Spain. With Valmet's boiler technology, the plant will be able to supply power in an efficient and sustainable way.
The order is included in Valmet's third quarter of 2018 orders received. It was placed by ACCIONA Industrial and Imasa, a Spanish EPC contractor joint venture for the plant. The biomass power plant's takeover is scheduled for January 2020.Read more
